My dream to become a software engineer sparked in 2020 during my first year at the University of Roehampton, London. Like many, I found my footing through Angela Yu's legendary Udemy Web Development Bootcamp which taught me that building software isn't just about syntax, it's about solving real problems.
After earning my BSc Computer Science degree in 2023, I didn't stop learning. I discovered the JavaScript Mastery YouTube channel created by Adrian Hajdin, where I deep-dived into modern full-stack development. His project-based approach helped me hone both frontend and backend skills, transforming theoretical knowledge into production-ready expertise.
But my path wasn't linear. Before the code, I spent 5+ years in enterprise IT support and administration. That experience taught me how software behaves under pressure, where it breaks, and what actually matters to real users. That perspective shapes everything I build today.
