can't install insightface for ComfyUI

I'm sorry, but how can I access the CMD terminal when using stability matrix? I don't understand which folder I shold write "CMD" to get it working.

i have resolve this issue by download insightface-0.7.3-cp310-cp310-win_amd64.whl and manual install in comfy UI venv。

I mean I don't undesrtand how to manually install it. I have the file but with stability matrix it's not easy to know which folder to write the CMD at the top. Help Please thanks.

@yyoouu @agustincaniglia I am having the same issue. I have tried to manually install the wheel as well. I placed the pre-generated wheel and placing it in the venv folder and then starting the extension installation but still get the error, can you detail what you have done to get this working. Thanks

Not exactly a fix but I found a work around that for now has resolved the whl issue. Instead of using ComfyUI directly I installed SwarmUI. Swarm uses a ComfyUI backend and has ComfyUI built-in allowing you the same node layout structure with the addition of other features that are really great. Anyway I tried to install the other extensions through ComfyUI manager but that still failed. But SwarmUI has an server>extension tab , that you can install a facetools extension that allows you to install ipadapter and the Reactor extension that rely on insightface to work directly from the UI that can be used by Comfy. I also ran the launch-windows.bat from inside the SwarmUI directory in Stability matrix as an admin which allowed me to bypass the permission issues that I had when just launching it through Stability Matrix. Not sure why it works but it worked for me, hopefully it helps others.

1. Find your ComfyUI installation folder and navigate to \ComfyUI\venv\Scripts\python.exe
2. Double click the EXE and look at the python version, remember this for later.
3. Right click on the exe and select copy as path (or select it and press CTRL + SHIFT + C) paste this somewhere for later
4. Navigate to https://github.com/Gourieff/Assets/tree/main/Insightface and download the .whl for your python version
   (For example, my python version was 3.10 so I downloaded the cp310 file.)
5. Navigate to wherever you downloaded the .whl file
6. Right click on .whl file and select copy as path (or select it and press CTRL + SHIFT + C) save this path for the next step
7. open a command prompt/terminal and run the following command
   {PASTE PATH TO COMFYUI PYTHON.EXE HERE} -m pip install {PASTE PATH TO .WHL FILE HERE} onnxruntime

that's it.
