GitLab need verification with credit card and phone number to run the fdroid pipeline which makes harder to merge, currently i need to wait for any fdroid developer to run the cli pipeline manually

The Fdroid app inclusion keeps delaying, I couldn't change anything in the repo (bug fixes) till the Fdroid merge. If I change anything, I need to change the yml and rerun the Fdroid merge pipeline again, which would start the inclusion right from the start. What should I do, wait or change the repo?
