latex for linux

Hello this is a fantastic project which I will send to all my colleagues writing their thesis or other projects. I have one suggestion though: you should mention TeXLive as a latex distribution in the install section. It is as complete as the ones for windows and mac and i suspect is what they user for overleaf too in the backend. I selfhost overleaf and that is what it is using.

P.S.: by any chance can this be loaded as a template in overleaf?

This is a good suggestion. I personally have never used TeXLive directly (and yes, I guess Overleaf is using it). I will mention that in the next update (btw, do you have any good reference on TexLive so I can look at?). By your last question, you mean extracting the template used by this book? If I have free time I can do it, but I think it is not at the top of my priority list.

I think i have used texlive exclusively for 15 years. here is their official site and they also have the documentation:

Regarding the template, i was asking if I can download this repo and the upload it into overleaf and save it as a template there. it is not that important. i will try it and see for myself soon.

Anyway keep up the great work. Do you have plans for other such latex projects? I don't think i have ever seen a good one for creating presentations in latex. Or a conference poster.

Ah, this repo actually comes from syncing my overleaf project. Maybe I can set it as template? (I need some time to figure it out.) For now, I don’t have any other LaTeX projects in my mind and have returned to focusing on Maths instead: see my personal website!
