EFI error on install for btrfs (Dualboot)

Basically, I wanted to migrate from my old cachy installation to AxOS. During installation I got the /boot/EFI error that was also mentioned in a discussion 8 months ago. I have no idea what I am doing wrong, help is appreciated!

Edit: I am using manual partitioning, selected my usual boot partition as "don't format" and "/boot/EFI" and my new root partition as "format to btrfs" and "/"

Hello. AxOS needs a separate efi directory formatted with fat32. Could you try again this way and say if it works ?

Sorry, could you explain in a bit more detailed way? EFI/boot stuff messes up my brain sometimes

Sure. You say you are trying to put the mountpoint on your already existing boot partition (for other distributions I suppose). But AxOS needs a partition that is in a fat32 format, and it requires the partition to be empty. You therefore have to create a new partition around 500MB, format it in fat32 and select the "/boot/efi" mountpoint on it.
